Interested in learning about the latest in digital voice communications? Perhaps you’ve heard something about DMR and MotoTRBO, but not quite sure what they’re all about? Then you need to attend the DMR Demystified presentation being held at the monthly meeting of TARS at the Evansville Red Cross 29 N Stockwell Rd, Evansville on September 10th at 7:00pm CST to learn all about the exciting world of Digital Mobile Radio (DMR).

Tony Tolbert, W9AMT, Indiana’s ARRL Technical Specialist will be providing an overview of DMR and how it’s being adopted by hams all over the world, including a live demonstration of world wide communications using DMR.

Indiana Section Emergency Coordinator Brent Walls N9BA will also be attending our meeting.

The September Eating Before the Meeting will be at Firehouse Subs 1031 N Green River Rd, before the regular TARS club meeting September 10th. Drop by for food, socializing, "story tell'n" and whatever else comes to mind. Join the group at 5:30, check in on 146.79 if you need directions or just bored on your drive in.

Everyone is welcome to join us.
