5W1SA active 7.009 0830Z good signal, static levels are sometimes high and band is not the greatest these days, but keep and ear open for this one.
9Y4LAS and 9Y4VU are also active on 40 meter phone at various times, LAS does qsl and I have received his card. VU claims postal problems and mail gets lost. This may be true and then again we give them the benefit of doubt. However, I had much better luck with 9Y4LAS prompt return of card with in a couple of weeks.
Various frequencies for these two, but centered mostly around 7.175 and around 0900Z One elusive station from China, again spotted for one contact, then gone... This time west coast stations copying, but nothing back this way..
Hopefully, things will improve soon and I plan to expand my reporting to 20/15/10 hopefully if all goes well with antenna replacements we should have much more to report after the 12th of August...
