DX Report 5/22/13
« on: May 22, 2013, 05:10:08 AM »
Conditions have been so bad even I cannot find much to report on these days. I have not heard the bands so bad for years and apparently it will continue for some time.

One note of inspiration I finally received nearly 100 qsl cards from the ARRL I had sent in for endorsement way back in February of this year. Looks like I made the DX challenge and a couple of endorsement stickers on the mixed, Phone and cw certificates.

As to activity on the bands, well there is a suitcase operation form VP5 in the form of VP5/W5CW keep in mind in there is no documentation sent in to the league, no credit for DXCC. Other services may accept it. 7.012 1000Z.

5N7M is active for short periods of time on 40 cw around 7.010, but this varies and the times are about 0600z . Several JA stations heard this morning calling VP5/W5CW but nothing much else.

Let's hope for some improvement soon.
