Not too good on the propagation for the WPX contest, since we already have this award from CQ and was disappointed in the quality of the award and the fact it took over a year to have it issued, I am no longer chasing prefixes.
I have also received another WPX award from EQSL and of course this one was issued in a short time. For those of you applying for the WPX via CQ magazine, well be prepared to wait for an eternity for the actual paper award. At least with EQSL you have the option of a nice looking plaque that puts the paper award to shame.
Consider the amount of work, plus the time spent chasing this award from CQ then have a big let down.. Nothing like the county award, this one is nice looking and a work of art.
Ok, just my opinion, but really the chase is not worth the paper award..
