DX Report 9/30/12
« on: September 30, 2012, 06:21:42 AM »
The operation from Conway Reef is still going and will be until October 5. However, the activity has slacked off some in the last few days. 40 cw is quite active with this station 7005 up 2 to 3.

Phone operation has been 7.082 and listening frequency announced, mostly around 7.150, or 7.180.

Some have reported a contact with this operation on six meters, 50,110. Checked often, but nothing heard on six in any direction.

Other bands check DXscape for all details, nice signal and great ops with this expedition.

On other bands, 30 meters shows promise in the early morning hours, lots of stations from VK land and ZL with very strong signals. Lots of Japanese stations as well, plus 5w1SA from Samoa is often on around 1000Z.

For the most part propagation has been poor, bands are pretty dead from about nine AM and for the rest of the day.

There has been limited activity from rare zone 23 JT1CO makes some appearances on 40 and 20 at irregular times, watch DXscape for this station and yes, he does qsl.

More to come...
