WPX contest going on over the weekend, lots of rare prefixes if you are into hunting them.
Most notable was some activity from VK9DAC, station is on 21.254 and was worked on this frequency simplex. Signal strength was not too great, readable, average was 55 to 57 on the south west path. VK9DAC does not log on QRZ, if you try and log it you have to use the main call of Vk3DAC and VK9DAC is listed as an alias. Odd indeed, but for what it is worth go for it and try and work them. I had hoped for a contact on ten, but out look is not good. More to come on Monday.
