My Dx reports will expand since I have replaced my ice and wind damaged mono bander with a new Bencher Skyhawk tribander. I have not worked 15 meters in years and was yearning to return to that band in the future. I also wanted to do some more ten meter work, but I was limited to a mono bander beam.
This afternoon once the new antenna was in place I had a great time on 15 meter cw. Canary islands, Ireland, Hungary, Spain and Yugoslovia all with 599 reports. Looks like the antenna is working and working well. In the past I have reported on 40 meters only, but we will now expand my reports to other bands.
Most notable on 15 was D3AA on 21,246 1800z. On ten meters nothing much noted, one Netherlands station fairly strong, but that was it from the Northeastern direction. Although, I will continue to report activity on 40, the more notable stations on 20/15/10 will be included.
