DX Report 6/30/13
« on: June 30, 2013, 06:26:57 AM »
Cycle 24 has not been an outstanding cycle and according to all predictions cycle 25 will be worse then the past cycle. We shall see how things go in the next few months and by next year this time.

For now, the following have been heard, worked, or spotted and the activity is sparse.

9V1YC 7.011 1100z this one is a great catch on any band as activity is very sparse, if you have copy on this station by all  means try for a contact. You may not get another chance for quite a while.

HI8A 7.003 1100z nice to hear some activity from this area, i have worked this station on six meters as well as HF bands, he qsls fine if you provide a green stamp and sase.

TU5DF 0330z 7.001 very close to the band edge, would have split operation is used, but so far that is not the way this station operated. Catch it while you can, those rare terrible T prefixes are hard to come by and you may not have another chance for a long time.

QSLS received XT2TT arrived a couple of days ago, nice qsl card and three bands confirmed.

Let's hope for better conditions soon.
