Looks like the major phone world wide contest will be going on this weekend. My predictions are this, ten, 15, 20 will die off as the night comes, there serious contest ops will flock to the lower bands. During the day time hours, we can expect lots of Europe, Caribbean action, some South America and maybe a few scant stations from Africa.
As to Asia, Japanese ops will be plentiful, maybe some from China as well, but I do not look for much else out of Asia. As to the Pacific rim, well VK/ZL although sparse, perhaps a station, or two from some of the islands, but I do not expect much.
Let's see how things go over the weekend, regular reporting to resume Monday.
