DX Report 9/20/16
« on: September 20, 2016, 01:35:29 AM »
Only good one on yesterday was TZ4AM worked on twenty CW 1950Z 14.005.

I did find out some good news for October 3Z9DX is planning an operation from T31 this is Central Kiribati, it seems every one goes to T32,but not T31. This is welcomed news, I have one single contact back a few decades ago when the prefix was VR1. There has been two operations from T31 one by the late Jim Smith. I did work him, but for some reason never secured a Qsl card.

The last operation had a great signal in the states one morning, but only wanted to work Europe, sadly a lot of fellows in North America missed this one, since it was for just a few days.

The news I have indicates a mid October operation, by that time maybe conditions will improve. More on this later.

The D66D operation seems to be off and On, more off then on, makes a few contacts, then does the vanishing act, no action on ten meters noted, and a few contacts scattered, with few callers. We can use this one on ten meters, but not holding my breath.

Really does not look promising the way they are operating.
