SIX Meters 7/26/16
« on: July 26, 2016, 08:33:03 PM »
During the period my internet was down we did have some great six meter openings, contacts with the west coast and Pacific Northwest were very common for a few days. In addition we worked EA8DBM in the Canary islands for a new band country and also CO3VR, this one turned out to be a dud, since no listing in QRZ.

During this period also we worked several stations in Europe on six, so this may be the culmination of the peak for six meters this year, or we may have more activity. For those of you watching the band, listen on, or around 50.073MHZ for any beacons, once they are heard the band is open. These beacons are slow speed CW and ID by grid, state.. Keep that in mind for future activity.

With that we shall see what happens in the next few days?
