DX Report 1/13/16
« on: January 13, 2016, 05:01:27 AM »
About the only thing to excite anyone has been the appearance of K5P this is not a state side side station,it is a DX expedition to Palmyra and Jarvis Island and it is a separate entity.

Bands have been poor, and the signal from this operation has been a whisper level if that. Station was reported to have been heard on 14.195 up and 21.220 Up. We could detect only a faint whisper on either frequency. We could use this one on 15 and ten, but not enough signal to even tell who they were returning to at any time. Until such time we have a good signal on one band, or the other we may have to pass this one up for now. I do not need it overall, have a qso confirmed on 20 meters several years ago.
