DX Report 10/8/13

Propagation has not been that good in the last couple of days, however some good ones worked during the day and early evening.

XW4XR 21.030 up 3 0050Z this is temporary operation from the country of Laos, rare catch on any band and the signal is pretty good with the beam a few degrees to the NW path. Qsl via the information on QRZ.com and do not use the address in Laos. There are instructions and another address listed, so follow the instruction if you want this one confirmed.

TX5D nice signal on ten meters, aim your yagi to the SW and their signal really peaks, 28.352 up 5 to ten, rather easy to work, 2130 Z.

GP0PKT IOTA operation, or prefix rare one, counts for England if not interested in the IOTA chasing.

CY0P is still elusive on ten meters, operation was spotted on 28,495, but no copy since they were aimed to Europe, heard lots of stations from Europe calling, but no U.S. stations. Cy0P is on various bands during the day, so if you have the propagation to this area go for it. We would like a contact on ten, hope it will happen, but if not we have this one confirmed on several bands over the years.
