DX Report 1/22/13
« on: January 22, 2013, 06:36:33 AM »
Several suitcase operations surfacing in the last few days.

The most notable were VP2V/k6TOP, normally the VP2 operations follow the pattern of the first letter of the suffix indicates the location. So with that assumption VP2V is located on the British Virgin Islands.

Another C6A/AA4NN Bahama Island

HR2/NP3L  Honduras

Ct8/DJ7JC  Madeira or Azores, op never indicated which.

All these operations were noted on 40 cw at various times.   Keep in mind if no documentation is sent to ARRL these will not count towards credit for DXCC. Take your chances, none are considered rare, so you may find a native station to work later.

Suitcase operations are fine, but again no documentation, zero credit. It depends on the operator if they think far enough ahead to send in proof they were actually where they claim to be. Many fail to do this.
