Title: SIX Meter MSK
Post by: k4lrx on April 05, 2017, 10:36:11 PM
I found out what the 50.280 frequency is used for since I have seen lots of spots of stations operating there and making contacts. I for one have never heard a thing and now I know why. It is a Meteor scatter net and using digital transmissions to communicate. So, I you are into scatter and have digital you might give this a try. Personally, never had any luck with scatter, too undependable and comes in spurts. So, in effect six meters remains dead to SSB and CW contacts as it has for the last few months.

I was sent one web site by another ham who has joined the group, although the web site did not mention 50.280 it might be of some interest to the average ham. http://swiradio.org/2016/12/27/meteor-scatter/
