Wonders never cease in this hobby, VK9XSP was worked on 21.020 up 2 0052Z. signal was pretty good on a some what dead band for those of you near my location and have yagi antennas, beam 345 degrees or about 15 degrees from due North. This is where the signal peaks. According to their recent posting on the web site, they will fold up their tent on the 29th so this may have been the last chance for this one.
I had worked Christmas on SSB twice over the years, but had never gotten a cw contact, so this one gave me a new band country on 15 and a new cw country.
What a chase this one was and VK9DLX was so easy, and so was VK9LM.
Doubt if we will get a shot on ten due to their erratic operation, so be it, we are in the log.
