DX Report 10/23/14
« on: October 23, 2014, 04:59:25 AM »
To say the bottom fell out of the bands yesterday would be about right, I was listening off and on most of the day, there was not much on the bands for the entire day and it got no better during the evening.

I had hopes of working Christmas Island on 15 and 10, over all I have this one on 40 and 20, but not the other two. So far, I have been a little dismayed with the VK9XSP operation it is on and off, off more then on in the last couple of days. In comparison to the VK9DLX group they are multibanding, on for long periods and work many stations.

Perhaps weather on Christmas is a factor, or equipment problems, we have not heard any information as of this time. It seems VK9XSP is on then abruptly vanishes. Yesterday, I saw two spots about and hour apart, one station with each spot, west coast.

Who knows?

Ok, we have some to list that are on and working stations.

ZK3E 7.030 0930Z.

TX7G 7.038 0645Z.

TX7G 10.105 0935Z.

ZK3E 10.112 0800Z.

VK9XSP 21.265 020Z. on for about five minutes and gone.

VK9LDX 28.460 0055Z.
