DX Report 12/24/12
« on: December 24, 2012, 04:57:41 AM »
Most notable is the Vp2MRV operation from Montserrat, this is a Japanese group of ops activating this semi rare entity. I worked them on the 23rd on twenty cw, they were active for about an half hour. Worked 1400z on twenty cw 14,015 khz.

T6LG worked with ease on twenty cw, 14.007 up two 1200z .

I have hoped some good propagation will happen on forty, since this station is active on that band. To date, the signal has been very weak, covered up last night for the most part by a station from Argentina that could not understand to call up 2 khz. T6LG is  often spotted on 7.007 but it appears the East coast has much better copy then the rest of us.

Be a nice catch on 40, but band has to improve during the next few weeks.

There is a Japanese station operating portable FO, take your chances, no documentation to ARRL it counts for zip, but then again you never know with these suitcase operations.

There have been one, or two spots for H40FN, this operation surfaces every year this time, but few people are able to copy them and only one spot now and then Be nice if this operation were active a lot, so good luck with this one. Hopefully, a major operation in the new future will take place from this rare entity.

Keep a watch for the bearded gentlemen later on tonight, he is known to operate aeronautical mobile, all frequencies and times.. HO HO HO.
