This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest
Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.
Thanks to all.

MOZAMBIQUE, C8.  Operators Arnold, WB6OJB and Frosty, K5LBU will be
active as C81AK and C81CF, respectively from August 25 to September
2.  Operations will be on 40 to 10 meters.  Arnold will be operating
on SSB and some CW, while Frosty will be operating on PSK and
possibly RTTY.  QSL via their home calls and LoTW.

CAPE VERDE, D44.  Carlo, ON4BR will be active as D44TLO from the
Windward Islands from August 16 to 23.  Activity will be on 40 to 10
meters using CW.  QSL via home call.

JERSEY, GJ0/MJ0.  Operators Jan, DJ8NK, and Paul, F6EXV will be
active from August 8 to 12 on 160 to 6 meters and possibly 60
meters, using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31.  QSL via home calls, direct
and by the Bureau.  Logs will be uploaded to ClubLog and LoTW.

SINT MAARTEN, PJ7.  Rich, KB5FLA is active as PJ7/KB5FLA until
August 12.  Activity will be holiday style on 40 and 20 meters using
CW and SSB.  QSL via home call, LoTW or eQSL.

FRENCH GUIANA, FY.  Paul, DL3LUM and Giuliano, PA3FHD are travelling
to Kourou for the launch of Galileo FOC-1 on August 21.  During
their free time they hope to get on the air signing FY/home calls.
The following ESA stations will also be active until the launch:
PI9ESA, DL0ESA and IZ0FEJ.  QSOs count towards a short-term (August
1 to September 15) Galileo award.  QSL via home calls.

CRETE, SV9.  Christo, LZ3FN will be QRV as SV9/LZ3FN from August 24
to September 7.  Activity will be on all bands using mostly CW.  QSL
via LZ1PM.

TURKS AND CAICOS, VP5.  Dr. Bill, K9HZ is active as VP5/K9HZ until
August 17.  Activity is holiday style on 80 to 10 meters using CW,
SSB and possibly RTTY.  His pilot station is John, W0PV.  QSL via
K9HZ, direct, by the Bureau or LoTW.

INDONESIA, YB9.  Gabor, HA3JB will be on an International Police
Association and IOTA expedition from September 25 to October 7.
Using the call sign YB9/HA3JB, he plans to activate Lombok Island
(OC-150) and Bali Island (OC-022).  Activity will be on the HF bands
using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL via HA3JB, per QRZ.com.

ASCENSION ISLAND, ZD8.  Steve, G3ZVW will be active as ZD8N fom
August 21 to 29.  Activity will be on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB
and the digital modes.  Look for him during the evenings, early
mornings, and over the weekend.  QSL via his home call, by the
Bureau or direct.

MALTA, 9H.  Jose, EA5IDQ plans to be QRV as 9H3JA from September 18
to 25.  He will be active holiday style on SSB and the digital modes
on 40 to 10 meters.

MOROCCO, 5E.  Spanish ops EA5HPX, EA7FTR, EB7DX along with some
friends from Morocco plan to operate special call 5E7R from the
Association Royale des Radio Amateurs du Maroc (ARRAM) in Rabat,
from August 21 to 24.  Listen for them on all bands and modes.  QSL
via EB7DX.

MAURITIUS, 3B8.  Paul, HB9ARY is QRV as 3B8/HB9ARY until August 18.
He is QRV on 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters mostly on SSB with
some CW.  He will be focusing on 40 meters.  QSL only via NI5DX.

CANARY ISLANDS, EA8.  Members of the national Spanish radio club URE
will be QRV from the Gran Telescopio Canarias - GTC (AF-004, WW Loc.
IL18bs) on August 9 and 10 to celebrate the telescope's 5th
birthday.  They will be QRV as AN8GTC on all bands using SSB, CW,
and digital modes.  QSL via EA8RCP.

ENGLAND, G.  GB1418WAR commemorates the beginning of World War I
during the month of August and is QRV on 160 to 10 meters, mostly on
SSB.  QSL via M0OXO (OQRS).  Please do not send QSLs via bureau.
GB100ZZ honors the memory of radio amateurs killed during WW I.
They are QRV until the end of the month from the Marconi Centre in
Poldhu.  ZZ used to be the call of the Marconi Company's station
there.  QSL via eQSL, requests for bureau and direct cards via
ClubLog.

BRUNEI, V85.  Stefan, YO8RCW is QRV as V85/YO8RCW until the end of
the month on 20 meter SSB only.  QSL via home call.

SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS.  W1AW Centennial Station W1AW/1 in Vermont
and W1AW/2 in New Jersey are QRV until 2359z on August 12.  In
addition, W1AW Centennial Station W1AW/5 in Oklahoma will be QRV
starting at 0000z on August 13.  It will be active until 2359z on
August 19.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The Worked All Europe Contest, Straight
Key Weekend Sprintathon, Maryland-DC QSO Party, Fall VHF Sprint 50
MHz and the NJQRP Skeeter Hunt are all on tap for this weekend.  The
NAQCC Monthly QRP Sprint is on August 13.  Please see August QST,
