If you have received an E mail from someone named Sean Streben who claims to be FCC east coast, it is bogus.
Do not reply to it. I have checked with the ARRL namely Chuck Skolaut and he checked with the Commission to see about this Sean Streben, this man does not work for the F.C.C. period.
The commission is dealing with this problem. Somehow, this person obtained many e mail addresses of ham operators and wrote a rather poorly designed e mail. Also in one statement he had some put down about ham operators.
