Bands pretty dead this morning, a few items of interest. VO2NS shows up regularly on 40 cw, around 7.013 for you zone hunters this is Zone 2. For country status it is of course Canada. Signal is very good at my location.
Also this morning some rare prefixes from Japan, 7M and 7N normally Japan issues these calls to non citizens of Japan, or for special event stations. Nice signals from both stations, various frequencies used on 40 cw. Checked DX scape for all details.
Another station from China on 40 around 7.026 again one qso and then vanishes seems like the Chinese ops are afraid of pile ups, or prefer a one time qso with someone and then vanish quickly. Rather frustrating, but will continue to keep up the search.
