FT5ZM operation has tried 40 meter phone 7.082 and listening on 7.175 to 7.180 last night was a huge pile up as usual and progress was slow due to qrm of intentional nature. We will continue to try on 40 meters, but we have worked this operation on 10 and 15 this time, plus confirmed it on 20 many years ago. If we make a 40 meter contact fine, if not, maybe next time?
A52JR this one has been spotted by many stations in Europe, but nothing much heard by stateside stations. Operation seems to be centered on 17 meters. Only two stateside stations reported this one and they were west coast and signal was not more the 5X5 at best.
We shall see what develops with this one in the next few days?
