SSB CQWW contest over the weekend, not bad overall, yet not outstanding. Worked many stations on from Europe, plus two stations from Greece using the J4 prefix. One station from Morocco CN3A with big signal. A very strong signal from Iceland TF3W and TF3CW. GJ2A also worked and very good signal. All these were on twenty meters.
On 40, several JA stations, several VK and and strong stations from Hawaii and Alaska. Lots of activity from PJ and P4 land. Nothing much heard from Africa other then CN, little activity from South America.
Asia just Japan, nothing else active, however enough DX for the beginner and old veteran as well.
Nothing new in this contest, but some outstanding signals from Europe and Australia.
Monday, back to normal business on the bands.
