DX Report 8/25/13
« on: August 25, 2013, 06:01:16 AM »
Pretty poor bands in the last twenty four hours, a few to mention.. Nice to hear some activity from MJ0ASP 1030Z, 14.040 this does count for Jersey and is a separate entity.

KH6LC Hawaii qso party, burning up the band 21.030 0300Z this station has been on for some time, so if you need the 50th state jump on this one.

FS7PL been years since a station has been fixed in the Sint Martin, this op is a french speaking operator, so go a little slow with the speech for him. Big signal back in the states, 21.240 around 2300Z. Qsl direct.

YW5X 21.295 up 5, generates interest for IOTA hunters, but for DXCC it is YV and nothing else. If you are an IOTA hunter grab this one, if not work it for YV. Interest has been moderate in this expedition so easy to work. Various bands, so your choice.

Ten is showing some openings and I have caught a few VK stations on ten in the last few nights, pretty good signals and no real qrm to speak of on ten. Check the band during the evening, you may be surprised at what you can find.

On a final note, a limited operation so far of E44PM, so far only one spot of this operation and that has been one time on 15 meters. The info is this operation will be until August 31, but so far nothing much heard at all. Keep your ears open for this one, it does count as Palestine and a separate entity.

Good hunting.
