DX Report 7/23/13

Just a few to report, 9H1EJ pretty good signal in the noise 7.012 0400z country does not have that many ops, but this one is not considered to be rare.

7Z1CQ one or two contacts and then vanishes, good catch if you can work this one, indeed a good one on 40 meters if the operator stays around long enough to make some contacts. 0040Z  7.002 kz.

This next one, well it may be legit, or a pirate there has not been activity from Libya in some time for obvious reasons. Back in the 60's it was quite common since there were many British ops stationed at an air base near Tripoli.  Only station that has surfaced in the last few years has been 5A1A. A qsl card was a rarity and it required registered mail.

If 5A1A is back on the air and according to QRZ the op is in Germany attending college classes, or other studies then this one is not legit. However, no one has reported this to be a pirate.

With that said, 5A1A  0020Z 7.003 and good luck on this one. Qsl address is listed in Germany and no manager, or e services.
