DX Report 10/12/17
« on: October 12, 2017, 01:21:37 AM »
I noticed the other day on the cluster that one station was spotted now and then, that being VU7T, in checking out this station I found this is supposed to be an expedition of sorts.  According to the information on QRZ there are six operators and they plan to keep bands from to ten active.

Well, so far they have been very weak in this area and cw only 14.021 0500Z, in case you are not aware VU7 counts as a separate entity and is only activated now and then. Last operation was on five minutes a day, made two contacts and vanished. I was fortunate to catch them on 15 meters for a phone contact. I did have this confirmed before on cw. It was not until an op used to working pile ups activated this station on 20 meter cw before the contact ratio went up, even then they were only heard two evenings.

So far, I have heard nothing, we shall see what happens in the next few days?
