DX Report 3/15/17
« on: March 15, 2017, 04:45:13 AM »
We have numerous listings for 5U5R and for TU7C , we have listed them quite frequently, so this morning let's see what else is on the bands?

T2AQ 7.153 0915Z

E51DWC 7.006 0600Z this one is easy to work now since the demand is not high.

H40FN 10.115 0700Z.

9N7EI this one has not produced much to North America last spotted effort was 14.255 0230, not attracting many callers. They were spotted once on 15 21.031 0340Z. Seems to be what I refer to as off and on, off more then on, but then again I base my call on what is being heard, or not being heard.

T88XH 18.072 0100Z.

For those of you needing 5U and TU they have been very active on many bands, stateside activity during the evening has been on 7.093 listening from 7.125 up. TU7C had an excellent signal on 40 SSB while 5U5R was on 7.004 with an equally good signal. They have been on most evenings from about 2000 local time till the band closes.

On another note HP1IBF is active on CW and 17 meters, we found him on 18.040 and on top of an RTTY station. However, the signal was good and we needed this one for a new band country. Op says on QRZ no G.S. or OQRS to get a qsl card, so we are taking him up on it by mailing ours this morning.

Overall, the bands have had their peaks and valleys, we are still hoping for some ten meter action from TU and 5U it has been limited and I have missed them every time since their operation on that band resolves down to poor conditions on ten. We may have to put these on hold till the bands improve. We were able to grab a contact with both of these stations on 15, life is good.
