DX Report 1/10/17
« on: January 10, 2017, 04:04:16 AM »
Yesterday the bands hit a peak and we had some pretty good dx making it.

First, our notable stations:

E51WWA 7.044 0530Z.

T88AQ this one is active on a moderate basis 10.107 2250Z

V31MA close country, big signal easy to work 21.015 2000Z

HI8RD same as above 48.425 2050Z

P49X big signal 28.485 1725Z.

We did work another new operation from Western Sahara 14.260 1640Z. This one has been quite active around 260, 265 signal peaked up pretty good. They are using the call S0S that is Sugar Zero Sugar. Pretty good signal on 20, nothing found on other bands.

Six meters is still in spot light effect, open in certain areas and dead in others, we did not hear a thing on the band even due to the fact the MUF peaked for a short time for 50MHZ. I checked clusters and found out the spotlight effect favored the West, Midwest for the most part. We will of course stay tuned and advise of any openings.
