Only real notable station was VK9CZ this operation from Cocos Island and it will last until April 13th. So far only a scant few stations worked on 40 meters, noted time of operation was around 2200z. Still daylight in my area so not much chance of hearing anything.
Couple this with poor conditions it will make it challenging to work this one on any band. According to the web site of VK9CZ they have had poor conditions, set up problems and little internet service. On the more positive side they are using LOTW and have responded quickly with confirmations.
This morning on 40 around 1000z nothing much heard other then one HK station and that was it, nothing else, the band was dead. Let's hope for better things tomorrow.
