Magnetic activity is up and sunspot count is down, this adds up to poor bands, my guess is the 20/15/10 meter bands will be useless after sunset, or shortly there after. This will force those contest ops down to 40/80/160. With the upper bands poor the lower bands may yield some contacts, look for high noise levels on those bands.
Activity from Europe will be high, so will the Caribbean area, South America will have a few ops.. Asia, we should hear a short window of opening to Japan, maybe some China contacts, but do not hold your breath Nothing much else from Asia, Africa, maybe one to six stations, Azores and Maderia Island should be plentiful, or easy to work. Maybe TL8AO might work the contest, but I would not look for much else..
Overall poor conditions, however you may gain a few new ones in the process. never know what might show up in the contest.. Good hunting in any event.
