Recently YI1H has shown up and this indeed is a pirate station, do not bother to send any green stamps, or make an attempt to obtain a qsl. Check out the YI1H listing in QRZ and the call signs bootlegged by this man. Above all, do not waste your time and money to send any mail to Iraq directly. In my case I worked the old YI1BGD call back about 15 years ago, but since then no real operations that were legit. It is a shame we have these types on the air, but ham radio is what it is and of course if there is no enforcement by the country where it is originating, well some of us will suffer and lose our money, waste out time and receive nothing back in the process.
Oh, YI1H was on 14.188 for a while, but posted do not work me I am a pirate station. Odd indeed..
