This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
QRZ DX, the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest
Corral from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.

TANZANIA, 5H. Operators Alex, UX0LL and Alex, UT5UY will be QRV as
5H1ZZ from Zanzibar Island, IOTA AF-032, from August 13 to 22.
Activity will be with two stations on the HF bands using CW, SSB and
various digital modes. QSL via M0URX.
CROATIA, 9A. Zik, DK8ZZ will be QRV as 9A/DK8ZZ from Bilice from
August 15 to 25. He will be active mainly on 6 meters, but may also
be active from various World Flora and Fauna locations on HF as
well. QSL to home call.
MOROCCO, CN. Members of ARRAM will be QRV using special event call
5E3A on August 14 and 15. QSL via EA7FTR.
CUBA, CO. Operators Alexei, CO2XK, Amed, CO2AME and Lazaro, CO2WL
are QRV with special call sign T42FCR until August 14. Activity is
on the HF bands using CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK and JT65. QSL via CO2WL.
REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HL. Look for operators D90HE, 6K2CEW, 6K2GUF,
6K2JFW and 6K2JQL to be QRV as home calls/3 from Anmyon Island, IOTA
AS-080, from August 13 to 15. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters
using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL via operators'
instructions.
LITHUANIA, LY. Jurek, SP5C will be QRV as LY/SN0WFF and LY/SP5C
from Curonian Spit National Park from August 16 to 24 while on
holiday here. QSL to home call.
MARKET REEF, OJ0. Dietmar, DL3DXX, Rene, DL2JRM, Daniel, DJ4MF and
Robin, DO2XX will be QRV as OJ0DX from August 12 to 16. Activity is
on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. This includes an entry in
the Worked All Europe DX CW contest. QSL via DL3DXX.
BRAZIL, PY. A large group of operators are QRV with special event
call ZY157CAT until the end of August to celebrate the founding of
the city of Catalao 157 years ago. Activity is on the HF bands
using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL direct to PP2BO.
GREECE, SV. Members of the Radio Amateur Association of Chios plan
to be QRV as SZ8ARC/p from Kalogeroi Island, IOTA EU-049, on August
13, depending on conditions. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters
using SSB. QSL direct to SZ8ARC.
EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA. Special event station R870T will be QRV from
August 15 to September 20 to celebrate the 870th anniversary of the
city of Tula. QSL via R2PT.
ASIATIC RUSSIA, UA0. Operators R6MG, RA6ABC, R7MR, UA0FAM and
UA3EDP are QRV as R0F from Shikotan Island, IOTA AS-062, until
August 17. Activity is on the HF bands with two stations. QSL via
R6MG.
UKRAINE, UR. Special event station EM60EV is QRV until August 31 to
commemorate the founding of the city of Dnipropetrovsk 60 years ago.
Activity is on the HF and VHF bands using CW, SSB, FM and various
digital modes. QSL direct to UT5ECZ.
CAMBODIA, XU. Operators Steff, HB9FXL and Rolf, HB9MUQ are QRV as
XU7AKB and XU7AKD, respectively, from Sihanoukville until August 18.
Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using SSB. QSL via HB9FXL.
ALBANIA, ZA. Nicola, IU7GSN is QRV as ZA3/IU7GSN until August 23.
Activity is holiday style on 40 to 10 meters using SSB and various
digital modes. QSL direct to home call.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The Worked All Europe DX CW Contest,
MMMonVHF/DUBUS 144 MHz Meteorscatter Sprint Contest, QRP CW Fox
Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint, NCCC CW Sprint, SKCC Weekend CW Sprintathon,
Maryland-DC QSO Party and 50 MHz Fall Sprint are all on tap for this
upcoming weekend.
The Phone Fray and CWops Mini-CWT CW Test are scheduled for August
17.
The ARRL National Parks on the Air event runs during all of 2016 to
mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
