I would really like to list about ten to twelve notable stations on the bands these days, but in reality it just is not happening. The proposed operations from 9Q0 have been spotted only once. The E44 operation is the same, no operation at all, or they may turn in to a five by two, on five minutes and two contacts daily.
We are writing them both off our list for now, little chance of anything as the days roll on, check the 15 meter band and it is totally dead. This morning it is ten AM and nothing on 20 meters in any direction. Pretty poor.
We have not seen things this bad in many a year, looks like May will not be an outstanding month for ham radio. Be patient, the bands will return, but it looks like a long dry summer. We will see what happens in the next few days?
