Looks like the bands are pretty bad again, so nothing much to report. There is of course the 5J0P operation that is on many bands, this one is pretty easy to work from the states. As I mentioned this is San Andres Island.
On another item it seems we have a pirate in the form of VK9CK, now this station is listed in qrz as being a Cocos Keeling operation, but the circumstances do not merit a legit operation.
It seems this station was calling CQ on top of 5J0P the heading was not right for Keeling and the signal was way too strong. Most fellows suspect a pirate stateside. There is no operation announced about Keeling, so my advice is save your money until we hear differently.
Let's see what today brings us on the bands.. So far, pretty dead.
