DX Report 1/14/16
« on: January 13, 2016, 11:40:42 PM »
About the only DX showing up was an appearance by K5P on 14.195 listening up starting at 225. Unless you have a pretty good antenna system this one is a lost cause. I was copying K5P about 53 to 54 at best with lots of QSB. It was almost impossible to know who he came back to at any time.  Most in the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st districts cannot hear them at all. Time was 7:30 PM local or 0130Z.

I see little reason to fight the pile ups on 20 since I have this one confirmed on SSB and CW, Maybe, I might get lucky and work this one on 15, but from what I have heard of the signal and the poor band conditions, it is doubtful.

Ten is dead, so is 15 and very few signals on 20, 40 is also dead.  Just nothing :( :( :( :(
