Some good ones on the band this time. XT2TT and XT2CJA continue to rack up the contacts from this rare country. XT2CJA operation on cw is rather slow and long periods of time between acknowledgement of callers. Lots of stations continue to call, but the number of contacts per minute is rather low.
On XT2TT the operators are fast and they move along quickly with contacts, take your chances which one you want to work. Good signal from this station on 40,20,30, 15. Check DXscape for exact frequencies and times.
7Z1TT has surfaced on occasions, this station has been spotted on various frequencies mostly ssb on twenty meters and 40 on a limited basis. The 7Z prefix is normally reserved for non permanent residents of Saudi Arabia, citizens of the country are issue HZ and rarely is anything but HZ1 issued.
Japan also uses the 7 prefix 7J-7N for non permanent residents, citizens of Japan are issued a J call and of course since Japan has about as many licensed hams as we do, it is a prefix hunter's heaven.
I have seen nothing yet on the Clipperton Island expedition, according to DX bulletins they will be using the TX prefix, but apparently the team has not yet arrived on the island, or if they have nothing is set up at this time. Keep a watch for this one, it has been quite a number of years since activity has emerged from this rare entity.
