In a few days the VK9WA operation will fold up their tent, so far this one has been a success. In the first day of operation they were on and off, mostly off I suspect putting up antennas getting rigs going etc.
Only thing to complain about is the fact the pile up was way too wide, some times taking up as much as 30KHZ, they could have taken things by the numbers, might have alleviated the problem. Or, compressed the pile up to about ten khz and that was it. I finally worked them by determination, but it was hard to figure out their listening frequency. However, over looking that problem, it was a good opeartion and rates a 9 out of 10.
DX contest coming after Thanksgiving, get on and work some new ones.
