TI9/3Z9DX 7.155 0715Z this one is noted on several bands, but erratic operation. That is on for a few minutes, off for a long time, same thing again. We noted them on ten meters, but the signal was barely audible. Some believe this is a pirate, while others know it is a so called dx expedition. I even heard one station saying the expedition was taking lists. In any event it raises two question, one is it legit and the reply to that is yes, it was announced on DX web sites. Secondly, did the expedition send in their documentation to the league so they will be credited? Without that, we are wasting our time. Take your chances, work them if you have the chance, try later for the confirmation.
